It's a really great question - Can we recycle shredded paper? Unfortunately due to it's very small size shredded paper cannot be recycled. And to add insult to injury, if we do pop it in the yellow bin the shredded paper ends up contaminating all the other recyclables. So, instead pop it in your green bin or compost. For clients without these options available, I take away their shredded paper and compost it on their behalf.
