Sometimes the best thing I can organise is a place to sit and rest.

That was the case for one parent whose heart sank every time they came home. Before they could even unlock the back door, they had to navigate what felt like a jungle of clutter on their verandah.

A huge verandah stretched the length of the house. I transformed it into zones for bike storage, a play area, and a quiet space for the grown-ups to sit.

No more navigating a jungle.

Instead, a spot to sit, have a cuppa, and simply be present while their kids played.

I had organised a moment of peace.
