Bonny, founder of Thoughtful Spaces Decluttering Wangaratta home organisation declutter

Hi, I'm Bonny

Based in Wangaratta, I provide compassionate decluttering and organising support across North East Victoria, including Wodonga, Beechworth, Myrtleford, Bright, and surrounding communities.

If you've ever looked around your home and felt overwhelmed, embarrassed, or simply unsure where to begin, you're not alone. That's exactly why I started Thoughtful Spaces Decluttering.

There’s a motto I live by “Mess has no Morality”.

I saw how friends’ and family’s homes changed when they hit difficult points in their lives. And it spurred me on to help; I want to create safe, comfortable spaces.

But not in a “declutter these 100 items” way. This is not about chasing a number or creating a picture-perfect home. It’s about working together, with kindness and care, to reduce overwhelm and create spaces that support the life you are actually living.

For me, this work is genuinely about making life easier. Removing the judgement and stigma people feel.

I understand how terrifying it can feel to admit that you’re struggling with your home, and then invite a complete stranger inside to see it. I see your courage in doing that — and I will treat you with kindness.

Helping people solve problems has been a theme throughout my working life. From working as an agricultural scientist finding solutions for farmers, to working in food safety within disability services, I have always enjoyed working alongside people to find practical solutions to the challenges in front of us.

My work has taken me across Australia and overseas, introducing me to people from all walks of life and creating friendships that I still value today.

Why Choose Thoughtful Spaces Decluttering?

With Thoughtful Spaces Decluttering, I’ve created a people-focused professional organising business based in Wangaratta. Because ultimately, it’s people I am helping. I have experience supporting people living with chronic illness, disability, neurological conditions, OCD, hoarding behaviours, anxiety, injury, and age-related changes.

I am a Professional Member of the Institute of Professional Organisers (IOPO), a member of The Organising Academy, an accredited Mental Health First Aider, an Accidental Counsellor, and hold a Working with Children Check. I want you to feel confident knowing that you are working with a qualified professional who values compassion, privacy, and individualised support.

I am committed to working collaboratively with you to create realistic, sustainable systems that support your needs.

Giving Back

I have always loved the little things — from investigating insects and plants as an agricultural scientist, to finding new homes for unwanted treasures today. As such, Thoughtful Spaces Decluttering is committed to sustainability and supporting the local community. Wherever possible, unwanted items are donated, recycled, or repurposed through local charities and community organisations, giving useful items a second life.

If you’re in Wangaratta or the surrounding North East Victoria region and feel ready to create a home that better supports your life, I’d love to hear from you.
