Fabric wrapping

I was inspired by Halve Waste, the Repair Café Albury-Wodonga Inc and Rethink Waste Tasmania to try furoshiki – the Japanese art of fabric wrapping.

And what a brilliant idea! Especially for those of us with a fabric stash at home. I grabbed a piece of checked cloth that I’ve been saving for a rainy day and wrapped up a photo book I’ve made for the family.

No sticky tape. No paper. And afterwards I can just fold up the fabric and pop it back in my craft cupboard.
