“why did you become a professional organiser”

30th April 2026

I have been asked on many occasions “why did you become a professional organiser”? The answer is I saw a need. I saw friends & family struggling over the years with feeling overwhelmed, with feeling inadequate, with feeling shame about their homes. And it made me feel awful. No one should feel this way. Each of them was dealing with major life issues/changes: from becoming parents, to diagnosis with depression, to divorce, to OCD, to childhood trauma, to illness & grief. I also really love making spaces usable. I love to see peoples needs met by the places they live in & work in. So, I combined the two, my care for people & wanting to have them supported by their homes.
